Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using CrashRate (crashrate.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Use of the site

CrashRate provides fatal-crash rates calculated from federal data for informational purposes only. A rate describes crashes recorded in a government file, not the risk to any one driver, road or trip, and it is not a substitute for professional, legal or safety advice.

No warranty

The content on CrashRate is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site is error-free, that outputs are accurate for every input, or that the site will be uninterrupted or available at all times. Your use of the site is at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CrashRate and its operators disclaim all liability for any damages — direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site.

Intellectual property

The content, design, and code of CrashRate are owned by CrashRate and its operators, except where credited to an original source. You may use the site freely for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce or republish CrashRate content without permission.

Updates to this site and these terms

We may update the site over time. We may also update these Terms of Service. Continued use of the site after a change to these terms constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
